PlastTrack met in Odense and at Newtec A/S to discuss the progress of our project. Meeting face-to-face proved to be extremely important. Not only did it allow us to connect with our project partners and understand their perspectives, but the exchange of ideas was also much more intense. In addition to presenting recent results, we engaged in fruitful discussions. The dynamic of in-person meetings significantly differs from that of online meetings, and ideas tend to flow more freely when we are together, especially during extended conversations.
Furthermore, we visited Newtec A/S. We were impressed by our partner, who specializes in building sorting machines for fruits and vegetables and has innovative ideas for applying their hyperspectral camera to everyday challenges, such as identifying damaged potatoes before they are visible by eye. We captured some images of the company during our tour and expressed our gratitude to Bjarke Jørgensen for showing us around.
